The Complex is happy to report of public art opportunities at Grangegorman for artists, particularly those working in its catchment area…

” ‘…the lives we live’ – Grangegorman Public Art” was launched last month marking a new phase of major public arts opportunities within Dublin City’s newest urban quarter. An invitation booklet has been complied providing introductory information and is designed to be comprehensive - so far, consisting of six diverse but complementary art pathways.

The Process: Each pathway has its own timescale and applicants will be asked to engage with the qualities and features of the Grangegorman site and its hinterland. Each pathway will also have its own selection panel to make recommendations to the Public Art Working Group  who make the final selection and recommend to the Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA). The GDA will in turn enter into contracts to enable commissioning of the selected proposal.

The invitation booklet plus register-of-interest application form are available to view and download at www.ggda.ie/public-art and those interested must complete and return the form  to receive the briefs for any of the pathways.  All relevant information is contained in the booklet - further queries contact 01 4024140 or e-mail public.art@ggda.ie.
