		<description><![CDATA[&#160;   The Complex is a multi-disciplinary arts movement, committed to transposing unoccupied sites into centres of professional arts practice. It makes its own original work in theatre, visual art, film, and young people’s theatre. It also programmes-in work across all mediums embracing music, dance, performance art and circus.  It is interested in work that is of a meaningful social value and therefore endeavours to create settings in spaces that dispense with barriers and partitions to allow accessibility and open engagement. Since 2009 it has enjoyed a nomadic existence, making bases in seven sites in Dublin’s northwest inner city. In September 2015, it will open a new permanent centre in Little Green Street, Dublin 7, comprising ten artist’s studios and a large open plan performance /exhibition space. It is an incredible opportunity. Little Green Street is an old fruit warehouse that belongs to Keelings, the fruiterers. You probably know it as the Mad Flowers corner outlet, opposite the Old Fruit and Vegetable Market, which will soon be undergoing a significant renovation itself, to become a retail destination with over one hundred stalls and restaurants, a real food hub.
