“RAMP” an exhibition by Roger O’Neill

Launch 6 – 8pm Thursday 25th February 2016 The Complex, 15 Little Green Street, Dublin 7

The Complex will launch RAMP, an exhibition by Irish painter Roger O’Neill at 6pm on Thursday 25th February 2016. Roger O Neill’s semi representational paintings from “almost landscapes” where geometric forms and shapes are presented, reformed and combined with constructed objects. They have been assembled and welded from materials directly sourced from Dublin City, which have been collected, stored and archived. Referencing Abstract Expressionism, the physical nature of the painted works responds to long contemplative research. Each individual work takes on and physically presents the action of construction within its own self.

RAMP runs at The Complex from 25th February 2016 until 28th February 2016.

The opening hours for the gallery are 6 -8pm Thursday 25th February, 12 – 4 pm on Friday 26th February, Saturday 27th February and Sunday 28th February 2016.

Roger O’Neill was born in Dublin in 1970 where he continues to live and work. He studied art at DLIADT in Dun Laoghaire.
