Job Description

Role and responsibilities

  1. The role under the Community Employment Scheme allows for 19 and a half hours per week employment for 12 months with the possibility of renewing.

  2. The Marketing Manager is responsible to the Artistic Director

  3. In collaboration with the Artistic Director and the Administrator of the Complex, they will manage the administration of Complex Youth Theatre

  4. Design and implement a marketing strategy for Complex Youth Theatre

  5. The primary responsibility is to promote all events in The Complex at Little Green Street, and any other venues managed by the Complex including site specific, short term contracts. The events can be both in-house and guest productions, exhibits, shows, launches and presentations.

  6. To run the management of the Website

  7. To run facebook, twitter, instagram and the blog, including the creative writing inputs

  8. To research and set up a ticket purchasing mechanism and a ‘box office’

  9. To manage an assistant to bring in this advertising and any revenues and also revenues from any advertising on the website.

  10. To ensure appropriate and adequate placement of Complex logos on all publicity material

  11. To work with VF and any outside consultants on press and media interest.

  12. To liaise with sponsors and oversee the delivery of their branding entitlements.
