The Heartless Man, A Play By Bill Griffin on Friday 14th July

Bill Griffin’s solo show is on display at The Complex, 15 Little Green Street, Dublin 7 everyday 12- 5pm until 16th July.

Cork born in the late 1940’s, Bill as a self-taught artist moved to London and began painting in the mid-1960s.

On the last Friday of Bill’s show, Senan O’Conor will perform Bill Griffin’s play ‘A Heartless Man’ At The Complex. This work examines the difficult relationship between the painter Francis Bacon & his muse George Dyer. Bill’s curiosity and familiarity with Francis Bacon will provide an original insight into the late painter, leaving the audience captivated and enlightened.

The performance is followed by a demonstration of finger painting by Bill Griffin, a technique which he has adopted and refined over the years.
