DEPOT SESSIONS SPOTLIGHT: CABL

Dublin four-piece CABL.

It's time to get to know our third and final act for The Depot Sessions—CABL! The Dublin four-piece consists of vocalist and bassist Ava Durran, guitarists Luke White and Ben Mooney, and drummer Eoghan Lynch. Their reputation has grown as a must-see live act since their debut show on Halloween night 2021.

The band's unique blend of Shoegaze, Pop, Emo, Nu-Metal and Folk often deals with themes such as addiction, flawed family situations and mental illness. They surround these introspective ideas with carefully orchestrated noise, harmony, and infectious melodies.

Self-described as an 'indie rock band put through a broken dishwasher', essential tracks to listen to include: 'Movies', 'After Dark', and 'B.1' - Or anything from their Chris Ryan-produced EP 'See You in a Year and a Half.'

Having sold out shows in the Grand Social, Workman's Club, Sin E, and Whelan's, CABL's rise has been meteoric, even opening for trad-rock legends The Scratch last December in their biggest show yet. Fans of Just Mustard, Paramore, Deftones, and Big Thief are sure to love CABL'S ethereal vocals and noisy guitars, so be sure to catch them at The Depot Sessions on October 17 alongside Big Love and CHERYM!

Tix to The Depot Sessions are €15 and are available here.
