Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of Dublin's cultural life? The Complex, a vibrant multidisciplinary arts centre in the heart of Dublin, is seeking a passionate and skilled Head of Finance and Operations to join our team.
As part of The Complex, you'll contribute to a thriving hub that produces over 80 events annually, spanning visual arts, theatre, live music, and dance. You'll work in a creative, collaborative environment while driving operational excellence and financial sustainability.

Your Key Responsibilities
Finance
Work with the CEO to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and healthy cash flow.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, while maintaining compliance with local tax regulations.
Assist in overseeing audits, invoicing and managing cash flow
Manage restricted and unrestricted funding, including grants and sponsorships.
Operations
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy arts venue, including staff, contractors, and building maintenance.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Communications & Marketing
Oversee marketing campaigns for The Complex’s diverse programme.
Work with our in-house Graphic Designer to maintain and develop our brand.
Manage the digital media assistants, and social media content creation.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience
5+ years in arts management or a similar field.
Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and securing funding (e.g., Arts Council grants).
Strong knowledge of the Irish arts sector and funding landscape.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Desirable Qualities
Strategic thinking and planning.
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
